After bootstrapping to beta in 2020 and raising $113K in a Regulation Crowdfunding pre-seed, the company is effectively positioned to improve unit economics, scale user acquisition, and expand its offering in the direction of consolidating the Field Service Management and Construction Software markets.
With 19,000 free users, over 500 paying customers, and churn steadfastly below 4%, Contractor Plus has approached $10,000 in Monthly Recurring Revenue. Multiple industry leaders are supporting the company through this growth period in the role of advisor, including Ryan Pineda from Homerun Offer and WealthyWay.com, Brandon Schlichter from Investment Joy, and Mike Demler from Brink Software. To kick off their round, Contractor Plus has secured a $40,000 commitment from lead investor Ethan Logan, President of White Label MFG. and founder of Electric Ventures.
In conjunction with raising this latest round, Contractor Plus plans to increase revenues by raising prices and switching to a per-seat pricing model. They’re consolidating into two plans, including PRO for $29 per user per month and ULTIMATE for $49 per user per month. To give existing customers an opportunity to lock in current pricing, the company is hosting a two-week grandfather campaign where users can pre-pay for as long as they’d like to keep their current plan and price.
